We are excited to share that the Blue Mountains Soccer Club is considering forming some rep teams at the grassroots level for the 2024 summer season. We are specifically interested in forming U9(2015/16) and U11 (2013/14) teams, in addition to our established U15 (2009/10) team. The games will be played in a festival format on Saturdays, with each team playing two games (sometimes one game) on Saturdays. There will be NO festivals on long weekends.
Length of Season
The season will run from mid-May to the end of August, with 8-12 festivals scheduled during this period. Families should be prepared to travel anywhere within the Southwest District Soccer region, with games being held as close as Orangeville and as far away as Cambridge.
The majority of games will take place in locations such as Guelph, Hillsburgh/Erin, and Kitchener Waterloo. Throughout the season, teams will practice 1-2 days per week at Tomahawk fields in Thornbury and compete one day per week on Saturdays at the festivals. There will also be some indoor soccer opportunities available.
Tryouts Information/Dates and Location
Tryouts for the U11 team will be held in September 2023, and everyone is welcome to attend. The cost for the rep programs is $250 per season, which includes uniforms.

U9 Assessments
U9 (Athletes born in 2015/16) Assessments begin in December at Beaver Valley Community School gymnasium in Thornbury.
